FAN CAPACITOR
2.5 mfd,3.15 mfd capacitor :~ this capacitor is mostly use in celling fan, table fan and pedestal fan and etc.

4 mfd,5 mfd capacitor :~ this capacitor is mostly use in high speed pedestal fan and high speed cooler and farata fan and more. This capacitor is only dry capacitor.

MOTOR RUNNING CAPACITOR :~
6mfd ,8 mfd,10 mfd, 12.50 mfd capacitor :~ this capacitor are mostly use in 0.5 hp single phase motor's. And this capacitor's is dry capacitor.
यह कैपेसिटर ज्यादातर 0.5 hp सिंगल फेज मोटर में उपयोग किया जाता है। और इस कैपेसिटर का ड्राई कैपेसिटर है।
15 mfd capacitor :~ this capacitor is mostly use in 0.75 hp motor's and this capacitor is also dry capacitor.
यह कैपेसिटर ज्यादातर 0.75 hp मोटर में उपयोग किया जाता है और यह कैपेसिटर भी ड्राई कैपेसिटर है।
20 mfd, 25 mfd,30 mfd capacitor :~ this capacitor's is mostly use in 1 hp single phase motor's.
यह कैपेसिटर ज्यादातर 1 hp सिंगल फेज मोटर में उपयोग किया जाता है।
36 mfd capacitor :~ this capacitor is use in induction motor or single phase submersible motor's
यह कैपेसिटर इंडक्शन मोटर या सिंगल फेज सबमर्सिबल मोटर में उपयोग किया जाता है
And more capacitor is use big induction motor's :~ 40 mfd , 45 mfd, 50 mfd, 60 mfd, 72 mfd. This is all RUN capacitor.

This capacitor is mostly use in induction motor this capacitor work is start a motor (push the motor) Some motors have starting capacitors or running capacitors, while some motors have only starting capacitors, mostly those with parallel connection of motors have only starting capacitors.

So, the question arises, are mFD and µF the same? The simple answer is that they belong to the same measurement scale, i.e., mFD stands for "milli-farad", while µF stands for "micro-farad". There are mostly old capacitor manufacturing companies that are using mFD instead of µF capacitors.
